I find most people that are against the usage of marijuana is because they are poorly educated on the subject.
They believe marijuana is the door leading to harder drugs, has for some feel that it is a hard drug itself. And for the most part, theses people have never smoked a joint and only repeat what they hear from others. All the negative, of course.
Like most of you said in this thread, its not physicly addictive, no withdrawls when quitting etc etc.
I say legalize pot, but add some side-laws to it. Household smoking only, and in specific weed cafe's where the eledgible age is the adult age of the country, for example, Canada, would be 18+.
The only way I can see that weed should not be legalized, is if it is scientificly proven that it kills.
But then, cigarettes do.. yet, that's legalized.
Some may bring up the fact that minors would attempt to purchase marijuana or enter marijuana cafe's. But.. minors attempt to buy cigarettes and try their shot at entering a bar with or without cards, hell.. im still 17 and I admit to it. Don't forget, minors buy marijuana off dealers. So if a high quality marijuana(good THC lvl) at a fair price is introduced by the goverment, it would draw dealers out of business to a certain extent, and minors would have more difficulty purchasing this drug.
ok im done
