NAs

for anyone with decently functioning ears, he is a man you need to hear... True enough, he has waltzed into some horrid platforms, for his lyrics to bump and grin upon, but he is also partly responsible for some of the finest hiphop tracks of all time...such as these:

nas - halftime

Nas - nas is like
[/youtube]
nas - the world is yours

Nas - I Can

Nas + Damien Marley - Nah Mean

nas - get down

nAS - MEMORY LANE

nas- the world is yours

Enough...If you have hiphoppy ears, and have listened to any of these tracks, and cannot feel Nas...lets be done with you, lets cast you aside, as a fiend,of the lowest denomination...because these tunes, are true gems...

Definitely one of my favorite rappers of all time... and at times has been number 1. One only has to read my signature to know that (taken from Blunt Ashes) :P. Way too many songs to name when it comes to favorites but a few have already been mentioned here. Others that come to mind are New York State of Mind pt. 2, You're the Man, One Mic, Life's a Bitch, Just a Moment, The Message, Undying Love, Hero, etc. etc. etc. As I said, wayyy too many to name as most of his songs are amazing.

You should also check out some AZ and Cormega as well, they were both brought into the "game" by nas and are truly gifted as well.
I saw on TV today, this man lost his son, his son died...
So he had him cremated, took his ashes, and then made it into a Diamond ring...
Now he watches his son shine every day.
I just thought about that, while I sit here ashing in this ashtray...

Definitely hard to single out only a few without missing any, but I'll definitely give it a go.

Cormega:

those were classics in my books, but he also came out with a new album recently... here's a taste...

AZ:

Nas & AZ

That's just a taste, but also some of my favorites. Let me know what you think buddy.

Can't believe I left out Affirmative Action... I must have been stoned! That's a pretty cool remix though, especially considering I speak french. :)

This song plays on one of the radio stations in the game Grand Theft Auto IV!

I should check out more of his stuff, if it is just as good or better than this song! I really like this song!

Thats a new track for me, Gore...cheers for adding it to this thread. And you MUST at least listen to Illmatic, one of the finest albums, of any genre, i and many others have ever heard. It stands the test of time regally. A few of the songs with Damien Marley are also quality, and then a wide selection of gems like the one you have shared with us...Enjoy

I"ll need to recommend some of this to my roommate. He's been listening to nothing but that shitty ass shitty shit rap all about "fucking bitches" "sucking ballz" etc etc etc. It's fucking stupid.
