The History Channel! :D

Post by CaptainChronic001 » Wed Oct 06, 2010 4:57 am

Honestly I love just sitting around watching shit about our beginnings. Like the roots of our society to see how fucked up we've become throughout time.

I mean things were so much better back in like the 1800's, like I wouldn't be posting this on the internet, i'd prolly post it in the library and wait for you guys to write on it :D lol.

But also watchin shows like "the Universe, nostradamus effect, pawn stars"

LETS NOT FORGET AMERICAN PICKERS! :D I love watchin that and seein what kind of crazy shit they find hahaha!

I like watching about the past, but I've never been a fan of dieing of cholera or tuberkulosis when I'm 30-40, so I'll make due with the 21st century thank you very much

I barely watch television these days but if I do it's history & discovery channel, though as said above Discovery is a bit more modern, while history channel is still real documentaries.
Computer games don't affect kids. I mean, if Pac-Man had affected us as kids, we would all be running around darkened rooms, munching magic pills, and listening to repetitive electronic music.

I have an over-fascination with history to know from a bunch of fellow history nuts that the history channel isn't a good source for history knowledge. However, I enjoy watching it except for all the neo-fantasy 2012 religious bullshit.

Well, it depends on how serious you are with your stories. History channel is very populist, and is like the MTV of history. catering to a broad audience as possible.
