how come his recipe of cannabutter (method 1) calls for only a few minutes of simmering the weed in the butter..

the other day i used a half quarter and simmered for 15 minutes but felt nothing after making pancakes with the "cannabutter" :roll:

im going to try ur recipe next caro.. the double broiler one .. ill be using a quarter of nice bud

You can make brownies out of regular cannabis, no need to make hash then brownies when you can just take out the middle man.

Mother's Milk

Ingredients:

8 oz Milk (soy, nut, or dairy, must be high in fat content)
8 oz Purified water
2 Tablespoons Cannabis flower or 4 Tbs Cannabis Leaf

Directions:
1. Grind up your cannabis with a coffee grinder, blender, or other grinding utensil.
2. Fill your first pot with water, and bring to a boil.
3. Place 2nd pot inside the first and add your milk and water.
4. Add cannabis, and simmer on medium heat for 30 minutes
5. Double strain milk through cheese cloth or other strainer

As an option add a pinch cinnamon, nutmeg, or ginger for flavor.

I love to cook, especially when I'm high. I've done a 9x9 pan with around 12 grams (just under half an ounce) a few times. I think i'll stick to it, because every time I make them I get fucked up to the point where I can't function right, which I don't get when I smoke. But, yes expensive. Last time I made them, my sister ate two, and she doesn't smoke. She was tripping so hard she blacked out, and claims she doesn't remember laughing uncontrollably at the bakery cashier, among other things that happened in a span of 8 or 9 hours. It was classic.

if i made brownies while my folks were working....would the house smell like weed? does it even smell liek weed when you cook it? how long does it take the smell to clear?

If you make a few slices of bacon or something, just do that and use it to cover up the smell. The smell might stay there for a couple hours but if you have something stronger like bacon it will go away almost immediately.
