bleu/blue cheese

Post by JokersAce » Thu Oct 20, 2011 1:49 pm

Am I the only one that has a hard time acquiring a preference for the taste of blue cheese? I always think, mmmm cheese... and then it tastes like what I imagine the friendly mold monster from Aqua Teen Hunger Force tastes like.

Blue cheese dressing is good. Blue cheese itself is rancid.
I personally recommend checking oneself for OCD at least once every 5 minutes.

I'm an avid cheese lover. However, anything with mold on it can fuck off.

I love me some gorgonzola or a little taste of that lovely camembert.

All cheese has mold on it except processed cheese. Although I just learned that blue cheese has mold throughout it and not just on the outside....no wonder it's so nasty.

I remember the first time I smelled of Brie I thought man who would ever eat that, then I found the cheese itself tastes nothing the way the rind reeks. So good, with a little bit of jalapeno fruit jelly...mmmm...

Many a time, I've tried to stomach the horrendous monstrosity that is stilton. My grandfather is a big fan of it and its the only cheese he puts out after a meal.

I prefer a nice, creamy cheese like cheshire or crumbly lancashire. Red leicester is good, but these are obviously just English cheeses that I've mentioned. There are many nice varieties from all over the world, but anything.... absolutely anything with mold throughout can fuck off.

I remember when I went to Spain about 5 years ago they had some type of orange cheese at a store with mold on the side of it... apparently they just knife it off and eat it...

Feta and Boursin are both nice.

I recently tried Wensleydale w/ apple and blackberry. That shit was tasty.

Blue cheese is absolutely by far one of the worst tasting foods I have ever eaten! Can't stand the stuff, and can't understand how anyone could possibly enjoy something that awful tasting. Even the smell of it will make me gag.
