Do militaries do drug tests?

As the title says? Would i be able to be in the army but still smoke when im at home etc

When I was in for my service they searched our bags with dogs, and if the dog marked you you had to do a piss test... that was an uncomfortable experience. You might also be subject to random testing whenever they feel like it. But a friend of mine who's an ensign or lieutenant has been tested like once in 2 or 3 years or something.

a guy my bf used to know is in the military and he can only smoke up very very rarely. like special circumstances when he is going to be "inactive" and can clean out his system.

also my friends husband was in the military (btw both instances are Canadian). and he was discharged cause he smashed his knee on ice. years later when he went to re-enlist he had to quit smoking weed for a long ass time while the paper work was being processed. but i think the length was because he had been discharged medically re-enlisting was a bitch

Tough to be an American..all for war. For me coz of my injuries can't participate in war, being an Aussie and all that..with me I'm with peace and toke that gunja.
With me, I wouldn't smoke one joint if I was in war.
