Just started germinating a feminized White Widow seed from Nirvana. We'll see how this goes.

Nutes: Technaflora
Medium: hydroton
Lights: 4x 6500K 23W CFLs for veg (18/6), 4x 2700K 23W CFLs for flower (12/12)
Training: ScroG/LST
Harvest: 50% amber
Additional: 2v 200mA PV cell applied during veg/early flower.

Edit: Swiss Cheese now; start of the pictures is here:

Took me about 10 days to receive mine with a CC purchase. What is the setting to get your pics uploaded that you're using? I'm still resizing mine till I hit 256 or less?

I think the webmaster needs to add "HookaHead" to the I.D. lineup... lol

Seed popped. I'll let the roots grow out a bit so they can reach the nute solution.

Once I realized how difficult it would be to start from seed in hydroton, I ordered some rockwool plugs to start out in. Got a seed in one in the case now.

The seed popped a day or something ago, I guess. I just checked it today and the taproot was out. Took the seed out and put it back in root-side down.

Also, in case anyone's curious about what happened to the first seed, I paper towel germinated that one and tried sticking it directly in hydroton, where it was promptly crushed. This is why I ordered rockwool plugs.

I thought it was supposed to stay grey JTP.

They're actually green right from the start, even dry. Don't worry; it's not algae, though rockwool is prone to algae growth and rot (which is why don't like it).

Aborted this grow due to security reasons, but I'm restarting it in a couple days trying 12/12 from seed (I think; still deciding).

Germinated a new seed in soil (still White Widow) and just transplanted to hydroton. Pictures coming whenever I get my SD adapter working.

Just ordered an LED panel for this grow. Sprout is about 2" above the net pot now. Also planning on supplementing CO2.

On brownies, I raised the sprout to prevent it from just continuously growing down into the solution trying to get to the light, as there wasn't enough hydroton in the cup to keep it supported by anything but the leaves. This was all fine and dandy, except I forgot to raise the water level as well. Result = dry sprout. I just ordered some Swiss Cheese from Nirvana, though. I'll try again with one of these.
