You're f*coed mate, it takes approximately 6 months to be out of your system.

Uh oh! But if it is just a routine blood test (colesterol etc) will THC show up?

No..... Don't be gettin paranoid about it. You'll be fine. They would not be checking to see if you are on anything... Plus even if they did found something, they couldn't just blurt it out to your folks cus there is a confidentiality rule. I dont know where that other guy is pulling 6 months from, but i wasn't sure myself so i googled it...... http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_long_does ... our_system <--- put that into your browser and it should show you that for someone who smokes like you say you do it'll be gone in a couple of hours/days and basically man your all good to go. But really, they won't be checking for it.... Why would doctors waste their time doing that??? And your parents, (If they don't know you smoke already, cus trust me they are sneaky buggers...) I'd like to imagine wouldn't go to such lengths.... And i'm pretty sure they cantt do that anyways. Don't forget to stay around and post, cus we all like to puff man :)

Despite that, what could they do. They're your parents.

Incorrect. It's an average of 28 days to detoxify your bloodstream of THC, though it takes much longer for it to work out of your hair follicles, fingernail material etc.

Wow. Okay. I must apologize. I misunderstood the 6 months terminal.

I know that THC is excreted from the body in different time in different people. I may be wrong, but this http://www.ncsm.nl/english/thc-weed-detox article says that everything depends on how often you smoke. If you haven't smoked before six months, maybe the THC content in your body will be so low that the test will not fix it? I somewhere read that any sorbent and a large amount of liquid helps to cleanse the body. I think that there should be some special detox programs that are used in narcological dispensaries, for example. I had a similar situation. We had to pass a drug test in the college. I was very worried. But I was lucky, I fell seriously ill and my drug test was postponed for two months.
