i'm afraid what you saw, were lemons, suga! and yes, abby, i share those hopes...i have never grown much before, especially anything i can eat...come to think of it, the ONLY plants i have tried are sunflowers, which are easy and produce a million seeds each bud!

what the fuck is attracting so many wasps or bees...I cannot tell which species, as i have an irritating, but still seriously rooted fear of the winged beasts, and they seem to be coming en masse, to my garden...is the plants attracting them??? Or the rotting lemons dropped from the tree and not yet collected and disposed of??? I got myself in such a frenzy earlier this evening, that through defending my life against such horrors, i threw my book into the next door neighbours garden....

well, you definitly want atleast some bees hanging about, as long as they don't make a hive in your garden, wasps are the winged spawn of Lucifer himself, and should be exterminated

you seem pure lunatic, mr baraveryhelles, but seemingly benign...and i always enjoy anyone who is so obviously entrenched in a world of their own making...

Whilst the tomato plants seem generally vibrant, with a few flowers showing, my neighbour has told me to rip the bastards out. Because i am now too late in the seasons (start of autumn) to hope for any decent fruit. So...I am playing dr black thumb this afternoon, and will plant snow peas, cauliflowers, broccoli and some lovely coloured flowers. The rocket did ok, but nobody here eats rocket. The basil seems to have been undone by a mass of weeds which stole its space and nutrients. The zucchinis, which were looking wicked, were trampled one night by ????? Who can say! The most benign explanation is a drunken goon wanted lemons from the tree in the same garden, and as they clambered up and fell down, they killed my zucchini. However, part of me suspects an ex lady friend, may well be the culprit...

cheers, abby...the snowpeas are planted, as are the broccoli sprouts...expect photos to follow. Its giving me so much peace of mind, calmness of soul, to be playing the constant gardener.

everything is now under the earth. SNowpeas, broccoli, onion, bruseel sprouts, cauliflower, pansies with black faces (when...if...they grow and flower), lavender...and the coup d'etat...foxglove. I fucked up before by taking no notice of the seasonal nature of plants. Instead, choosing to attempt to grow what i wanted to eat. This time around, I have chosen autumn vegetables and flowers, so...better results should soon follow. I would like to fashion a blowpipe from a branch of the lemon tree, then create darts tipped with digitalis, then don hood, and patrol the streets at night, perhaps taking up a sniper position in my german mate's penthouse on the 3rd floor balcony of his chapel street location, putting the wind up the tails of the mindless goons who swarm beneath me...well...perhaps more than wind up their tail!
