"Search" Function on WG

Hey guys. Did you know that the search function works really well? I had tried it before and found it ineffectual. You have to click "Search for all terms". Then you can find any topics that mention what you're searching for. Again, I realize many of you already knew this but for those of you smert like me, it may be of some use.

I was hoping that if people knew this we wouldn't have repeated threads all the time such as "when was the first time you got high" etc. You could just do a search.

i knew it was there cuz i used to go to this honda-acura forum and among every like elementary question some uptight mofos would be like...

I'm refreshing this topic because you people are driving me crazy. Play around with the function, and you'll see that virtually anything you are looking for can be found, so enough with the duplicate threads!!!!

This is like something I would have brought up during one of my first encounters with a computer.

Hey did you ever want to view every single thread you've ever made here at Weedguru? Well, you can. Just leave the subject query blank, and put in your username in the author field. As with every search, you must choose "Search for all terms". Then choose sort by: author. You will get an alphabetical list of authors. You can find your name on this list the hard way, or by skipping to the middle using the numbers associated with the web pages. (Example: The alphabetical list of authors is search.php?search_id=508808601&start=50. My threads start on page search.php?search_id=508808601&start=450)

or you can click on your profile and click 'view all posts by this user'.

That only shows you your posts, not the threads you started.

Awesome Caro! I was trying to figure this exact same thing out the night before but I ended up walking away with a headache.

Im sure this information will play useful.
