I fear silence and failure
more than death itself
that dark and threatening allure
my self belief is on the lowest shelf


The feeling of being lost and without purpose
suffocating my mental wealth
dealing with dishonest people
diminishing my fleeting health

I am lost and without bearings
in a world consumed by grief
so many things left unachieved
fueling my disbelief


Is there light at the end of the tunnel
freedom from this burning void
life is being syphoned through a funnel
a release from this cancroid




sums up how I'm feeling these days.

I feel you my belgian truffle brother...and know that you have more than enough value, to make something of yourself in YOUR eyes, and in the eyes of those YOU find valuable, and when push comes to shove, this is ALL THAT MATTERS...save some gold nuggets, spread your wings, and fly free...to greener pastures. Live, Love, Lose and Learn, then write about it...is all I can add.

I like this flow. I kind of feel that way sometimes as well...
As much as I love to read poetry, I can not write them myself..... just not in me...
