decent games with good character customisations?

anyone got any suggestions for games with good character customisations? I've already played dragon age series, all the fables, elder scrolls series, neverwinter, D&D,dragons dogma, soul cal, etc i prefer rpgs or fighters, not that keen on mmo's cos im an anti-social gamer, gaming is one of my fave ways to escape reality, so no warcraft please

I guess it depends a bit on what you mean by character customization. I think Path of exile has a very interesting skillbuilding system where you can create quite varied and unique builds - the drawback is that PoE is an online game so you'll see other people and stuff, but there is no need to team up with them if you don't want to. It's also a Free to play game, so it's worth checking out I guess.

Cheers Sugar, i think i saw it on steam but i wasnt entirely sure with it being mmo. I'll give it a go though especially cos it's free

I guess by character customisation I mean mostly being able to manipulate the characters abilities, so i can play it the way i want (i prefer to be stealthy rather than rambo it-class wise i prefer rogues to warriors/healers etc) but i do enjoy customising the characters appearance too, as well as how making in game choices affects game play.

The thing that puts me off MMO's mostly is that its quite hard as a noob to not get killed repeatedly by more experienced gamers, and I am more interested in progressing with story lines than PvP action, so if PvP is not optional and people can just disrupt me mid quest I'll lose interest pretty quick

I prolly should have also mentioned in my first post I have a ps3, xbox360 n pc so as long as the games are on any of those we're on a winner
