The main difference between Indica and Sativa is in the leaves. Sativa has much smaller thinner leaves than Indica.
Fat leaves/short bush = Indica
Thin leaves/tall bushes = Sativa
Indica is higher in CSD than THC which means you get a heavier sleepy type high. Indica yields more weed than Sativa. Since Indica requires a shorter growing season, it is best for indoor growing.
Sativa is higher in THC than CSD so you get a cerebral, soaring type high, more energetic. Yields less weed than Indica, but is very potent. Best suited for outdoor growing.
Hope that helps
