Its funny you guys say that. Every game i look at on the 360 looks just like the old Xbox games. Sure they have high resolution maybe, but i wasnt blown away by the graphics or anything. Im waiting for the PS3 in november... cant wait!

you might want to research shit a bit more thurough before you go tell shit like that, and besides PS3 hasn't got any games beating the x360 graphic-wise, and it won't as it's been proven over and over again that both consoles are equally powerfull, they just get better scores in different areas.

For example Assassin's Creed , a so called ps3 exclusive game (NOT ahaha) will have better crowd AI and more characters on screen than the PS3, OOPS OWNED

Dude, where the hell do you think I get this from? It was an article on a gamesite I frequent, the info came directly from the devs so please, don't tell me I know shit about games, I'm a gamer with a social life, which means I know alot of shit about games, and have alot of friends :p

So: blu-ray : it sucks, why? Cause its way to far ahead of it's time. Secondly, developers prefer HDDVD over blu ray,simply cause it's easier to use, by the way there's something known as procedural processing now, which means games will become far smaller (look at Spore: it's under 64mb in size, it's gonna be launched on xboxlive arcade, it uses this technology)

so, games get smaller, blu ray becomes soooo dumb to use cause it's way too expensive for what it is, and games will become smaller and smaller.

Supposed to be ps3 exclusive? I don't think so man, the game is being developped for both consoles, with different teams working on them. The developers themselves said the game will not only have better crowd AI on x360, but also more characters on screen than the ps3.

Oops, it's been proven many times that the xbox360 and ps3 perform at equal levels, but in the end the x360 has better processing power than the ps3, one of the reasons why AC will have the better crowd AI and sizes.

oh yeah, one of the things the ps3 would have and the xbox360 wouldn't have is the 1080ip resolution, oops, problem solved, xbox360 will have 1080i/p support.

now, if we're looking at numbers the ps3 is supposedly twice as fast as the x360, only problem is they're using their 7cores, xbox360,which has 3 cores is only using one of them (1/3rd of it's true power) for current games, which means that in the future, as developpers manage to use all three cores combined, x360 games will start looking even better than now.

and btw, you don't really think that ps3 games, on 'blu-ray' will be cheap right? And what's the use of being able to store 54gigs on a blu ray disc? Any developer creating a game that big ought to be kicked in the nuts.

So there's alot of fanboyism going on, it's real hard to find a subjective comparison of both consoles, the only thing we can do is wait and see. ANd believe what the devs of the games tell us.

True dat. And Ikku, the PS3 hosts the cheapest blue-ray player on the market, plus it plays games. Blue-ray is gonna be goin for like the next 10 years, so if you can make yours system last that long, then it's worth it.

Show me an article, by a known and respected source, that states the hd-dvd's are being pulled out. 'Cause as far as I know they're still in the running.

The only downside I can think of concerning the xbox (and believe me i've been into major shit with this console) is the gold membership required to play online and MS being cheap enough not to give us dedicated servers (even though we bloody pay for every bit of info).

The ps3 is too expensive for what it is, the games are all out on x360 and graphically both consoles still have a lot to discover.

So quit whining about the ps3><xbox360 'cause we won't know who's in charge for another 3 to 4 years .

You guys are way too quick to just completely dis Sony and the PS3. Sure XBOX 360 has better games RIGHT NOW, but thats because the PS3 just came out and developers just got used to coding for the ps2. The PS3 won't be great until developers figure out how to code for the blu-ray itself and its core processor. When they unlock it's potential, the 360 will just be dust in the wind. Plus the PS3 has the ability to use almost any Hard Drive you want, so you can start getting downloadable material and not have to worry about space. How does microsoft handle this problem? By making you buy an entirely new console with a bigger hard drive i.e. the 360 elite. Blu-ray technology is brand new compared to HD-DVD, so that is a big set-back for sony right now. But as i said when they figure out how to code for the games, it will be a walk in the park. Not only does 50GB give developers more space than they could ever want, they can add PS3 exclusive material without making the games 2 discs. Plus with Blu-ray they prepared for the future, if microsoft decides to go blu-ray (which they might because i mean come on, its blu-ray and microsoft loves your money) they can't do it without making an entirely new console that you'll have to buy for 400$.
Note: The PS3's unlocked potential is at about 25%
The 360's unlocked potential is at about 80% give or take a few %
So this begs the question, what will be the verdict when PS3 unlocks it's FULL potential? It wont happen this year, maybe next summer, but it will happen and all you people brainwashed by microsoft will be wishing you didnt spend the hundreds of dollars on XBOX Live.. PS3 online is FREE

i haven't tried any of these new game systems. i stopped playing games a few years ago because everything seemed to be the same shit over and over. let's hope there's some new aspects to the games they make these days.
