Regardless, I saw this movie the other nightfor my first time, and in 3D. It was fucking awesome. I'm not really much a movie guy, but holy shit the movie was sweet. I want to live there. Fly dragons? Yes please. Fly dragons in huge fuckoff forests? HELL yeah. Fly dragons in awesome forests in epic mountains that float over an ocean?

Yeah man the 3D really done it for me too. I wanna now see as many movies in 3D as I can. I seen BeoWulf in 3D but it was pretty gumpf.

Although if the new Alice in Wonderland uses the same shit they used to make Avatar (which it looks like they are) then I'm DEF going to see the new AIW.

Man I just seen this tonight for the first time ever, I don't ever go to the movie theater..... but anyway watched this on blue ray tonight and I must say I was impressed.

Was pretty intense in 3D but the second time I seen it in the theatre it wasn't so good. 3d is fucking great though, I need to go see more movies in 3d.

I've only been to one 3d movie and that was Spy kids, when I was like 12.

I should check out more 3d movies.

Many companies are starting to design 3-dimensional televisions. How well this works out is yet to be determined.

It was worth the 10 bucks to see it in 3D, however halfway through the film I had the feeling that I'd seen it all before, and I had.

Alright so here's the dumb question of the thread... but what's the deal with watching 3D movies in the comfort of your own home? I've noticed this movie Final Destination in stores... and it comes with a pair of 3D glasses attached to the case. On the other hand, I've never seen any 3D glasses attached to any Avatar case.

The first question is whether or not the first movie "Final Destination" would work on a regular television in 3D? Or like CTCF said, do you have to have a special type of television? Also, if 3D movies can be viewed on regular televisions, are there any 3D Avatar DVDs out there? Because despite what has been said in this thread, I have yet to see one...
