Sack the bandwidth it can be a good thing having a week off because as you may have noticed some of those really new members that werent dedicated to the board have dissapeared its good for the break as it means we look forward to havin the forums and appreciate em more anyway so stop this conservin malarky go ahead and use it people cant express themselves with havin conservation in the back of their heads all the time!

Yes they can, Stu, you're way off track. The site being down 25% of the time isn't a good thing. The loss of new members isn't a good thing. We're one of the biggest weed sites on the net - when people type in "weed forum" on Goodle, it brings them here. It's bad PR if Weedguru doesn't work. The owner of this site supports bandwidth conservation. You should, too.

i am a newer member and it made me sad that weedguru was taken away from me i love seeing what people have to say the other thing is for all those people that sign up but dont post i think if they want to read peoples thoughts then read them arent they open for all to read and they should just sign up when they are actually going to view their thoughts

im a newer member too like 'stoner04' who i know and i like coming on here and telling people what i think and being able to see what other people have to say... it either makes me feel dumb or smart and i like feeling smart

but either way we love WG and im gonna be followin the rules as should everyone else cause i know that no one else likes not being able to get on here and just post your feelings!

ALSO: i think it just might be a good idea to delete posts over x amount of days being on the site unused... i mean if people are till replying keep it but if no one is then it might as well not be there right?

Djjj, I'd imagine that would be fine, because in many past months, when Weedguru was down, many of our members went to the Bakin-Kru website until WG got back up. And as for conserving bandwidth, I'd have to go with Caro. I mean, hell, if something annoys me enough that I have to make a thread of this much importance about, we obviously should try to prevent it.

hey people,
i apologize as ever for my lack of commitment and input into the site rather than my rhymes which i seem to always find time to stick on here, but maybe thats cos you the only guys that like them. most of my non-stoner mates think poetry is a bit lame.anyway regarding this bandwidht issue, i too am disheartened when i want to look on my site but cant so. This may sound like a fucking sob story but i have properly horrendous debts that have escalated dramatically to near the 10,000 pounds sterling mark. I had to use my credit card to pay for the hosting for another year. it is true that i wish i was living in australia(as i do have a aussie passport as i have an english one) but my debts are forcing me to stay here, im pretty much fucked to be honest. i love this site and see its potential as it has grown bigger and bigger and the new members seem to continually trickle in ona almost daily basis. i have set up a paypal donations thing but you must hastle weedguru_asmodeus to put it on the site as I cannot change the html coding for the site or whatever asmodeus used. i have thought in the past of trying to get a donations thing going to increase the nadwidth and to be honest to help ease my crumbling finances and have asked asmodeus but he has yet to implement the donations button or coding whatver needs to be done.
I will email him again but we rarely speak as he is abusy man. i have been outta work for a month now so have no cash avalaible even on credit to extend the bandwidth with our hosts.
anyway please give asmodeus some pressue to put the donations thing on the site and be assured, i swear that the first money we recieve would be ploughed back into the site to increaseth bandwidth and make everyone happier.
also if anyone can offer me any financial advice i would greatly apprecdiate it. i have debts of nearly 10,00 like i say, credit cards and a loan. i have considered an insolvency aggrement or even decaklring myself bankrupt but am concerned that it will make it very hard for me in the future to get amrtgage or any credit. anyone got nay ideas??
anyway i thank you all for your continued supprt in this site which started off as a vision of a worldwide stoner community and has slowly grwon to realzie that vision.

Animal - get a paypal account. get a paypal account and give us the address, here, in the weedguru forums. People who have them can transfer directly from their paypal accounts to yours, and it goes in your checking account.
