Now before you start making something you need a base to create it on, in this case a good story.
Since we were talking about it for a long time I decided I'd get busy on the story so I wrote an intro and I want you guys to give me comment on this.
It is however a work in progress, so it's certainly not a final version, names for characters and races are things I just kinda wrote down without thinking so yes, they're laughable.
O yes, it's a sci-fi game
here goes:
Si’ktha stood tall as he saw the psyrifts open five miles overhead. His translucent body shimmering in the light of three stars, he activated a pod on his left wrist’s armor.
”Warn the Vertubro, we must not let them gain a foothold on this planet. Gather at the Spire and make sure the civilians are safe…” He spoke into the alien comdevice.”
He had seen countless invasions when he was still a child, and he was not planning on giving up this new homeworld to the creatures they designated ‘Gromntri’ or Deathbearers, an ancient race that had been hunting them down for ages.
As he made his way back to the Spire, a construct apearantly made of glass, but in reality a sturdy impenetrable outer hull of a starcraft that crashed into the planet’s crust aeons ago, when Si’Ktha’s ancestors fled the Gromntri onslaught, he could see dots appear from the rifts, they didn’t have much time, and he couldn’t believe it was happening again.
The Vertubro were the elite warrior cult responsible for the safety of the rest of their civilization, Millions of warriors gathered in the center of the crater, marked by the spire.
Standing nearly three meters tall the Vertubro were an awesome sight, spectre like translucent bodies covered in slim crystallike sharded armor, each of them glowing the brightest shade of white at their core. They wielded J’olthars, ranged weaponry powered by the essence they kept at their cores, powerfull enough to blow through layer upon layer of hard granite.
As Si’Ktha their supreme commander raised his voice to utter their battlecry their cores turned a dark, ominous red…
They were ready for battle
