My friends and I were joking about seeing it on acid..but think about it..how chill can you possibly be when you're tripping and watching a 3D movie? I'd wait to watch it on DVD..or at least see a late showing.

I'm gonna wait to see what other people have to say about it before I go see it.

everyone that I know that is going to take it while on shrooms or cid said they are waiting a few weeks until the theater is less crowded. So that's definitely a good idea to wait if you were to do it

edit: you know how sick and fucked up that would be if the movie got to be so dark and depressing at moments that it was designed to fuck with someone while tripping? I mean it IS possible for them to do that because they know so many people will be going to the showing while trippin balls. Either that or work with the trip and make it that much more intense... damn, with a movie like this, there are SO many things you could work with for this movie to make it whatever you want just because of so many people who will be tripping and watching this in theaters.

This movie looks shitty and cliched tbh, with the hook that its based on a lovable story with all the special effects and the costumes and omg Tim Burton Johnny Depp blah blah blah. I doubt it would be superior to the old Disney version but even then, it wasn't like that movie in particular was a masterpiece classic (and this is someone who has watched it a million times as a kid and stoned before). What I really want to see is the 1980's Czech version that used stop motion animation, heard it was really good. Anyways: Any movie that my preteen sister and all her soon to be hormonal friends want to see to fulfill their preteen idol viewing lust is not a film I wish to see.

In regards to seeing the film whilst under the influence of psychedlics: I once wanted to watch Nightmare Before Christmas 3D on mushrooms but my connect ended up being a raging faggot and I've thus still not tried mushrooms to this day.

saw it two days ago, it's not a remake but a sequel to the Disney cartoon we all saw as kids.

Alice is 19 now and when she returns a war has broken out between the Red Queen (off with their heads!) and her sister the White queen... The film is basically a cliché of the first one ,everybody from the cat to the mad hatter are in there but it just doesn't feel cool ... Tim Burton and Johnny Depp did a fairly good job but some stuff like Absolem not blowing colored letters made me sad


It was nice in 3D though.

Um..I saw it the other day. The 3D was cool...it seemed way too short. I was expecting more.

So my girlfriend and I saw Alice 3D last night baked off our asses.

I have never seen the original or read the tale, so I cannot compare on that aspect, however, for what it was, i really enjoyed it. Quite a few parts made me genuinely laugh which doesn't happen too often. I loved the animation and the characters, and i personally think that Johnny Depps character was great.
I would love to see it again, and especially in imax 3d.

It did give me a sense of how crazy and far technology has come even in the last 25 years. NO one would have imagined such an immersing way to see movies even that long ago. It's incredible.

Tangents avoided, I'd give the movie a 9.5/10. again, didn't know the original story, so cant compare

I saw it in 3D and I thought the movie was great. I want to go back now and see the original cartoon movie. I've seen it so many yet I can't remember the story line enough to make the connections with the sequel.

Depp, Burton, Bonham Carter...how the fuck can I go wrong here???? I can't, and didn't....Lovely effects, generally watchable acting, decent script. This film was moderately entertaining, well done throughout, but...failed to touch me emotionally. And it did leave me feeling like I was expecting more, of such talent on the production and acting sides...Still...a delightful remake of a classic. Bonham-carter's eyes, are well worth the admission fee...I would marry her, and devote myself for eternity, without a doubt...even when she has a head 10 sizes bigger than her lythe torso.
