Can you exercise and still get high?

Post by TheProfessional »

i started working out recently, been doing cardio to get back into shape. Ive been saving my dro for later at night as I usually do, but on such a beautiful day like todays Ive pondered if I should toke up before my run.

Do you guys exercise and how does weed affect your progress if at all?

yea u can exercise wasted, i do all my exercise wasted, to be honest i cant even remember if it impairs or not, but i expect it will prolly make you more lazy towards sets, and cardio might be more difficult after a smoke, i am not sure, it has bin such a long time that i done exercise without being baked i cant remember the difference  lol

Yeah i've done it before, it's alright, but I find it more rewarding to smoke after the work out.

I used to weightlift up until a year ago, and did a few amateur bodybuilding competitions over the years. I prefered to not smoke up before the work out. I tended to lack the motivation to complete my routine and real heavy lifting seemed so much heavier...

I love weight-lifting and trainging and being in awesome shape and going joggin and stuff,,,

however i smoke after i have worked out for the day.

i would strongly reccomend smoking as a reward after you work out.

Arnold use to smoke all the time when he trained. If you're really serious about optimizing testosterone and your training don't smoke at all before you work out and wait at least 4 hours after a workout to smoke. Its great for muscle soreness and a good appetite enhancer when you're trying to get big.

As far as your cardio is concerned if you're smoking enough weed that it noticeably effects your lung capacity you might want to think about cutting back if you're seriously considering a training routine.

All that is for optimal training. I have no problem smoking and working out a couple hours later..and one of the best feelings ever is smoking right after a really heavy workout. The THC hits your blood stream much faster, it can be intense.

Running releases natural opioid receptors in your brain anyway giving you a runners high after about thirty minutes of running. I would just wait until afterwards and then smoke I don't like getting high and running tends to take away from the whole experience of the feeling that your body can produce naturally.

I got high and then excersized at the gym , except for being out of wind after half an hour on those bike things it didn't have any bad effects.

"oh yeah, only five more minutes on the clock, i gotta make it to 16km!" haha, it's fun :)
Computer games don't affect kids. I mean, if Pac-Man had affected us as kids, we would all be running around darkened rooms, munching magic pills, and listening to repetitive electronic music.

I don't know man, to me it sounded like you just wanted to be spontaneous. I would not go out of my way to blaze up every time I worked out, but on a nice day like you said, you may have a pretty nice experience. I don't find smoking up before working out affects ANYTHING outside of motivation. Once you get started, it's all gravy. Smoking up and going for a run on a nice day can be a good experience now and then. In general though, I'd agree with most other responses in this thread.
I saw on TV today, this man lost his son, his son died...
So he had him cremated, took his ashes, and then made it into a Diamond ring...
Now he watches his son shine every day.
I just thought about that, while I sit here ashing in this ashtray...

i don't exercise high.
it lackens your mind.
Weed + effort = bad combo for my personality.

i'd do all my shits then get wasted. The high would be much more pleasable.
it makes more sense like this to me.

As we all know that smoking is dangerous to our health. So, that's good for you if you are preferred not to smoke before a workout. However, I think much better if you don't smoke anymore for the true healthy body. Maybe, in the beginning you can't avoid smoking, but if you continue to stop smoking, then after all you can't smoke it anymore. :rasta:

WTF first post on a weed forum telling someone not to smoke?
I personally recommend checking oneself for OCD at least once every 5 minutes.

the only thing that pisses me off is all the money i could'Ve save, or invested in a brand new car.
Whatever, i guess.
