Centurion

Aftr a shockingly traumatic night, I needed something which could grab my attention as wholesomely as possible...Centurion did not fail to deliver.

Based on a fabrication of known history, this film is the story of the 9th legion of the roman forces in the then Roman province of Britannia, facing off against the celtic tribes collectively grouped as the Picts. The writers also added in a potent suggestion of a character who seems very similar to Boudacia. A decent script, darkly and beautifully shot, wonderful fight scenes, all in all, a wicked film. Although its hard to feel too much empathy for a group who show honour and grab at nobility, yet react blankly to accusations of their people cutting out tongues and raping and pillaging to enforce their will.

Reccomended.

definately going to watch this.. thanks for posting it, i absolutely love the Celtic culture (or atleast what i know of it) and even though this is sort of... not... real... it still looks fucking awesome with the flaming boulders and arrows shooting and armor and killing and stuff.
