Movies to appreciate

Post by NotVeryCool »

I get into a weird catatonic state while high, but while watching something on the tv screen, I noticed how real it felt, so I'm going to try watching some movies and I'm going to see how well it pans out.

In case anyone cares, the films I'm going to try out include:
Across the Universe
Donnie Darko (one of my favorites)
Requiem for a Dream
Pink Floyd The Wall (just heard of it)
Scott Pilgrim vs The World (the fight scenes would probably be the only cool parts)
The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus
Waking Life
Trainspotting
The Secret of Kells (just heard about this one moments ago)
Mr. Nobody (same main character as Requiem for a Dream, trippy movie, watched it but didn't finish because I wanted to save the ending since I didn't understand it)
and Inception.

I'm a huge movie fan, and I haven't seen Inception yet, so please don't spoil it. I've heard enough spoilers as it is, I've just been saving the film for the appropriate time. Although I probably won't understand any movies while high, I think it'd be interesting if the visual effects are captivating.

Anyone watch these movies while extremely stoned? If so, let me know which to avoid, which to watch, and any other film suggestions! And by stoned, I mean completely, utterly, stoned out of your mind, since apparently that's the only way I get high. I'm hoping to build up tolerance so I can enjoy comedy movies, sadly music and visual effects are the only two things that hold my attention.

Also, I watched A Scanner Darkly already.
