reading what everyone wrote about music makes me want to rip my hair out of my head and then like knock myself unconcious so I wont have to read anymore.

anyways.... who the f*ck listens to rap music and shit when they is stonned? no my friend..that music is genrally too fast for the brain and only one thing can result from listening to this music and that is this: BUZZ KILL.

Techno music is nice- but not when your on weed...maybe when your trippin on x or acid but not on weed my friend.

Not too much alternative music is good either... that is also a buzz kill.... only a few atrists are ok in the group....like the slow metallica music.

ok so you are wondering what music you should listen too then... the all time best music to listen to when you are stoned is....THE DOORS!!! You ask why? well listen to the lyrics and you will know... this music is wriitten to listen too when you are stoned- why? because Jim moriison is a totaly stonner and he had that in mind when he was in THE DOORS. there you go........theres my two cents........

I downloaded the doors album quite some time ago and I really do love it. Its music you just sink into, with some fairly mellow tunes, and other much more upbeat lively tracks. Not the music for everyone, but definately worth tryin at least once.

it is true that the doors created some wicked music, that is good whether you are stoned or not. who the fuck listens to rap music?? you ask, well i do but i would say it is hip hop. not sure exactly what hip hop you have heard before but probably only stuff you might have seen on mtv or some other media machine. Your point that rap equates to buzzkill is absurd. most hip hop is written by constantly blunted artists. you are correct that music made by stoners is easy to listen to for stoners. you should try listening to some tribe called quest, illogic, eyedea, pharcyde, deltron or just ask someone who likes hip hop to show you some stuff. life is about experience mate, and you have to hear some good stuff before you so effortlessy discard rap.

my opinion is that you need good mellow music. ryan adams is my fave, also like small faces, weller, ocean colour scene (quality!) and the who.

u just need some nice acoustc stuff to help you chill out!

All the kaners I know now are pretty much younger than me like 16/17 and they listen to trance and hardcore when were wrecked and it properly does my haed in. When I get home I start listening to mellow chilled out gear like nightmares on wax. Fucking awesome.

i like techno...people are probably going to bitch or something. but i think its the best music...........while your stoned i think music puts you in a mood. and techno it a good mood....raps alright, especialy if you turn on cartoons with no sound and turn on rap, it looks like they sing to it....outkast works good with most cartoons....

I think theres daytime music and nighttime music.

Daytime music is usually skater punk type stuff. I'm in a punk band n all. I also liek to listen to trance and drum and bass through the day.

But nighttime is time for chillin (Unless your going clubbin) I usually listen to trippy shit. ambient stuff, hip hop etc.

gotta agree that some hip hop is a buzz kill. If ya listen to hip hop you gotta listen to something fairly mellow. Personally i listen to Faithless, Maxi Jazz's voice jus fills your whole head, its fucking profound.

trance and techno are 4 (as redman would put it) E poppin faggits so fuck off if u want real music cheack out Floyd or sumthin like that...

ok soo you think gus that when you dont like smookin weed and listen to trance is only for e.....well my friend you are sooo fuckin wrong.....First of all i think you never heard other trance that the one they put on radio and call is techno or trance...that is soo bullshit.find some good one and even if you dont like it, it will take you out cold...And i believe you whan you say you like pink floyd...but the important thing when you listen to music smashed, you have to enjoy it...Some may like blackmetal, others punk, alternative,reggey, rap, trance.....So stop thinkin your music is better than others, all music is good when liked by the listener soo thats how i think.

as for my opinion, i like pretty much all music when im mashed. it jus depends what mood im in at the time. im super surprised i havent heard jimi hendrix mentioned. seriously though, theres a german guy called ulrich schnauss. for all you guys who like ambient/drifty style, you should definately buy his album called "far away trains passing by". boards of canada is good and portishead too.

we should all take time to listen to one and others opinions. we all like to think that our own shit is the best. fact of the matter is though, no matter how good you are, theres always someone better that you dun know about.

For me - I lke to listen to music to influence whatever mood im in - so there are so many different style of tunes in my collection that I have something for every occasion.
