Alright so my room mate is nosy as fuck and didnt want me having any weed in the apartment but i got like an ounce and half in 2 seperate bags... to hide the smell i double bagged them, wrapped them in tinfoil, put them in a freezer bag and then put it under a pile of clothes. Is there anyway that he would still be able to smell it?

Your roommate should not be going through your stuff in the first place. Seems rather fucked to me. Have you tried a ceiling tile?

Usually it's hard for someone who's smoking to notice the scent of weed as much as someone who doesn't toke up but since your roommate doesn't want you having weed in the house I'm assuming you don't smoke in the apartment either? If that's the case, I'd say that if you can't smell it then there shouldn't be any reason your roommate would...

When I try to hide the smell of something I put it in my closet ... u definitely want to keep it away from vents... layers help too... put it in a backback put the backpack in a gym bag etc
