cleansing fertilizer

Hey guys, so nearly all the bud I can find around these parts hasn't been properly cleansed of fertilizers before they harvest it. It makes a slight crackly sound when you burn it sometimes, and is much harsher on the throat than expected. It is very unfortunate since the plants are otherwise quite potent.

Is there any way to flush out the fertilizers after it's already been cured? Or will I have to suck it up and let my poor throat endure it all?

I highly doubt it man. I would suspect its pesticides, not fertilizer, but I don't really know much about growing weed and what affects it. But I don't think you can take bud that was grown like that and make it smoke and taste like delicious organic bud.

Dang. It's really frustrating that the problem could easily be resolved if the growers cleansed the plant a few days before harvesting it. That's just hygiene :/
