Bowl Burns

Does anyone else have any bowl burns. Around where I live, a bowl burn is kind of like the symbol of a stoner. I have one on my shoulder, which is where most of my friends put them, but some have them on their arm or leg. I think this is just a regional thing for around here, but are bowl burns done in other places of the country as well?

No... maybe we have a different name for it, a description would help. Like over in California they call blowing the bowl out by coughing or laughing Rhino Snorting but here we call it Buffalo Farting.

Ok, fair enough. You know when you use a metal bowl to smoke, it gets really hot. Well, you take that bowl, heat it up a little more, then press it to your skin (for me it was on my shoulder), and leave it there until the bowl cools down. It'll hurt like hell, but it'll leave a circular burn wherever you put it. I believe that it is a second degree burn, so it stays very noticable for quite some time, maybe a few months. If you get a good one, you'll have a very faint scar of a bowl where ever you gave yourself the burn for over a year or longer. Here it is like a symbol, because only true stoners are willing to give themsleves a burn to prove that they are a stoner.

U don't smoke to be 'One of the lads' or 'cool' U smoke da 'erb coz u wanna be mellow and sociable it's not something to go round shouting about. Well i suppose u can do wot u like but my view is that.

Where I come from, in secondary school some lads would give themselves 'smiley's' whereby theyd keep a lighter lit for a few minutes and then press the metal on wherever and they'd get a scar of a smiley face on their hand or whatever.

I never really understood why they did it though to be honest.

yeah ive seen it done with the lighter. you need a standard clipper lighter. y'know..those that you can get in almost any colors. theyre about 99p or something like that. these lighters are great for smoking weed though. the little bit that gives the spark can be pulled out and it has a little plastic stick on it thats jus right for packing ur spliff at the end. then you jus slide it back in. theyre good for heating shit up. like ur bowl thats packed fulla weed. the round bit at the top is a 100% perfect fit for silver palm leafs(spleafs). thise credit card shaped hand pipes. about thirty quid. to me thats a bargain but thats only cause i had one. when they engineered the lighters this was in mind. its not a coinsidence or anything. then i suppose if you wanna be a twat you can burn a smiley face into ur skin.

oh yeah and that guy is right about why you should smoke weed. dont do it cause ur buddies do it and you think its good for your image.if your buddies started shooting up on heroin would you?

i agree. all my life, i've been a quiet smart kid and nobody would have ever thought i would start smoking pot, when i did, i got closer to my stoner freinds and sort of faded away from my smart friends. the bastards started smoking weed and they told everyone about it. the fucker's think it's cool
