I should already know this from all the weed I've smoked but I guess I don't.....But wut typa tell-tale signs can tell u more potent weed from less potent? Like odour, colour, crystals, etc...

a good strong smell is good, also just what type of weed it is (purple haze any1?)
the best way is to skin up and get wasted, the only real way to tell

yep yep. also if it has alot of red hairs, or if it is real moist and sticky, then its probably pretty good stuff.

Stickyness, the smell (If you know what your looking for), amount of crystals/hairs, colour of the leaves/bud.

Smell is the biggest thing, also, the feel of the bud, is it hard or soft, harder the better. Also, do your fingers feel abit sticky after you touch it.
Also, if you use a grinder, how much "dust" you have left in there after you grind it.
