I hate it when someone put a filter in a joint

it pisses me even more when someone rips up my rolling paper package to make them

the whole point of a filter tip in a normal cigarette is to 'filter' most of what you are inhaling. That way, its not as strong and is easier to breathe in.
If you did that with a joint, it would take you forever to get stoned.
when you make a roach, the whole point is that little hole in it so all the good sheet can enter the body and make us better people

has anyone ever tried with a filter tip? dont use a whole one. cut it in half or something. i had a few joints like that a while back and i did feel something. it was only leaves though so i didnt expect to feel much. you all should give it a try. it definately makes it less harsh when you use the tampon thingy.

its true what misagh said filters may taste nicer to smoke but they dont get you stoned for shit a complet waste of time.

well i guess i must not have felt anything at all. i must have just been imagining it. it wasnt my weed i did it with either. it was jus some leaves from my friends uncle. i know for a fact that i felt something. anyone who says its a COMPLETE waste of time is completly incorrect. like i said, dont use a whole filter. cut it in half. some of you people would probably be surprised.

I really dont get how you lot can all say how shit it is when u havent tried it! The filter doesnt filter out any of the THC, which is the drug that get's us stoned when we smoke a spliff. It only filters out the Tar and some of the chemicals in the tobacco. Obviously u get a much smoother joint than if u was to use a roach but some people like the harshness because they are used to it. It's like my friend who says he doesnt like pure skunk joints cos he cant taste anything. They are fucking well nice, and well smooth, and they get you well fucked, in my opinion they are quality but expensive.

Anyway, a normal roach does actually filter out a small bit of the tar in the tobacco anyway (thats why it goes brown) but it allows a lot more tar into your lungs.

When u smoke a joint without a filter, think of it as ripping the filter off of a cigarette and smoking that! It is worse than smoking a cigar, and if you smoke a lot then u could have health problems in a few years to come.

Dont get me wrong, I do smoke most of my joints with a roach in them because the filters u get in Cigarettes are too big, and even when u cut then down I think they make it taste shitty. What I would recommend is to buy some filter tips that are used by people who smoke roll ups. They are really cheap and you get plenty in a box. I discovered them when my Dad started smoking roll ups, they are the perfect size.

Just to make sure that you all beleive me that the filter does not filter any of the high you are going to get, think of a bong. The water, does not filter the THC but it does filter some of the Tar and it also cools down the smoke. I have read that bongs are the 2nd most healthy way of smoking next to Vapourisers.

courtenayboy, i could not have put that any better myself. thank you for replying. the amount of people saying filter tips are shit was getting on my nerves. and yeah, the tips that roll up smokers use are very handy for this.

if people think that THC gets caught in the filter thingy if you put them in your joints then after youve smoked the joint eat the filter and you would be stoned or you could sucK on the filter
