1.Happy Gilmore.
Adam Sandler’s best performance as the ice hockey turned golfer with a very short fuse. Sandler’s ability to suddenly snap is well funny especially his fight with the TV host, Bob Barker.
I haven’t met anyone who doesn’t find this film wicked.

2.Muppet from outer space.
The most modern of the Muppets feature films and also the best. The story follows Gonzo on a road to discovery of his origins. All the favourite characters are in the film with some cool appearances from animal.
You’ll be laughing non stop from start to finish.
ANIMAL! ANIMAL! ANIMAL!

3.Any Father Ted series.
The comical Irish priest and co are consistently hilarious. The series centres on the life and times of the priest, his apprentice priest, the housekeeper and the drunken blind father. Each episode delivers laugh after laugh. My favourite is the episode with Richard Wilson from ‘one foot in the grave’.

4.Space Odyssey 2001
This had some very surreal shit in it that will send your mind spinning, but been caned seems to make you try as hard as possible to follow the film, special effects and all.
An epic in terms of space films.

5.Clockers
The hard-hitting Spike Lee film is a profile of life in Brooklyn. A superb cast including Delroy Lindo and Harvey Keitel combined with a beautiful soundtrack make this a film very easy to fall into. The plot a bit slow but each character has so much depth you feel you really know them by the end of the film.
It’s quality.

6.Uncle Buck
John Candy’s finest acting moment I think. His role as the irresponsible stand in parent is perfect for his acting style and look. Check out the pancakes he makes for his nephew, and his golf practice on his nieces boyfriend.

7.The Matrix
The effects and storyline make this an ideal film to watch when you’re caned. Keanu reaves actually fits his role and the usual class of Laurence Fishburne really involves you in the film.
The futuristic story, that makes your mind wander is well written and beautifully shot with some amazing fighting scenes.

8.Trainspotting
Ewan Mcgregor and Robert Carlyle are part of a gifted group of actors who transformed the popular Irvine Welsh novel into this acclaimed film. The story follows the lives of a group of heroin addicts living in squalor in Glasgow, funny as much as shocking throughout with a stomping soundtrack.
Seems good every time you watch it, although there is a nasty scene involving a baby which could upset.

9.Predator
Arnie at his finest in this sc-fi thriller. A group of crack commandos goes into the jungle to hunt down a mysterious predator of unknown origin. Effects are amazing as is Arnie and his crew.
Turn the lights off for this one and turn the sound right up.

10. Any Simpsons series.
Bart and co, have created some of the funniest cartoons ever and getting any series will turn out most fulfilling. The later series are the funnier, the story for the unknown centre around the Simpson family. Homer as the lazy, drunkard father is the custodian of young Bart who gets up to various misadventures usually in an attempt to cause someone some misery.
