That doesn't sound that dumb, if you know what you're doing DXM is some trippy shit.m3tal wrote:My dumbass friend did 6 pills of cough medicine and was an incoherent fuck for 3 hours... then he fell asleep.

EDIT: I might as well add, the craziest household trips I've had would either be 70mg or so zopiclone or 500mg Benadryl (diphenhydramine).
Benadryl wasn't as intense but what makes it so crazy is you're never sure if you're actually tripping. E.g:I saw and felt a fucking cat rub up against my leg, I went to pet it and it disappeared as soon as I made "contact". I saw death fly out of my tv screen, this rat kept on running around the room at like Mach 3 bugging the shit out of me.

Re: Household Hallucinogens
people, i beg you that you do not do DXM otherwise known as dextromethorphan hbr, i became severly addicted to that for 6 months of my life, i would take at least 480mg of it a day and that was every day for that 6months. It nearly ended my life, one night i took it way too far and took 1440mg of it, after about 5hours of the biggest trip of my life and a an hour or two of being blacked out i woke up in my bed in the worst pain in my life. I could not even scream i was in so much pain, so i crawled on my stomach to the bathroom where i lay for the next 10hours convulsing unable to control any of my bodily functions. I still suffer from addiction and have relapsed 3 times in the last year since i stopped taking them, they are fun but can be dagerous.
Learn from my mistakes.
and before you ask, yes they were the correct type to take. i did them for 6months straight, every day, don't you think i would know which ones to take.

Re: Household Hallucinogens
Well it's good thing you stopped when you did.
I used to pop coricidon back in the day. It wasn't even fun, I just did it to trip with my friends. We would go over to friends houses and freak out about drowning in in couches and seeing ponys on walls.
Most definately a horrid experience.

Re: Household Hallucinogens
It's a cold and cough medicine with a shit load of DXM in it. Apparently since kids were abusing it so much it went from being on the shelves to behind the counter.
