maybe if i could afford both booze would have more money spent on it. but its pretty much one or the other for budgeting reasons weed wins everytime.

absolutely not. I smoke all day every day, only drink maybe once a week at most

I hardly ever smoke these days... It's pretty much the oposite of before except not as intense, I used to smoke all day every day, any weed i could get my hands on, me and my ex used to get a half oz of hash and skunk, buy a hotel room for a night and smoke from like 7pm till 4am, rarely woke up with more than a gram or 2 left.


Anyways, it seems to me like all my old friends all drink a lot more than they smoke now so I wanted to ask you guys...Seems like my observation was correctamundo.

I only ever drink at the weekends though, maybe a few beers on monday, 1 or 2 on Tuesday but the heavy stuff is saved for the weekends with friends.

yeah I used to buy weed and smoke until it's nearly all gone, but nowadays is much different for me. I can't be spending so much money to just live in a sobered haze all day, come home and just repeat the same thing until I get to the point where I just feel stoned/sober. I became a little dependent on weed and I didn't like how it made me drowsy and unmotivated all day unless I was stoned.. and even then, once I would start smoking, I was just motivated to do unimportant things all day, or even just lay and watch TV doing nothing.

I might smoke once on the weekends if I'm drinking and in the mood, but generally I go 1-3 weeks at least without smoking anything and I've been liking it much more that way as of the past few months

I'm considering going to pick up some weed now. But that's only cause I'm hammered before 5pm.

Upside to drinking is that even with a tolerance, you can still get just as drunk as ever, it just takes more. With weed tolerance, you can smoke an eighth or more and just feel normal, or fall asleep.

I think what happened was, we started smoking young, and once we turned 21 and alcohol became more readily available than ever, we became full fledged alcoholics instead of just weekend warriors.

I did all my drinking from 17-20. slowed down super hard shortly before turning 21, it just doesn't interest me much any more
