After some searching I managed to find the manual.
http://www.fujitsu-siemens.co.uk/rl/ser ... SI6340.PDF
Page 34: How to enter setup
Page 61: Pretty sure this is what you are looking for. If there are numbers such as 4.5,5,5.5 etc then this is it. Reading the manual, you are looking for 10 or 9.5 if I understood it correctly.

animal, that's true all you have to do is find the correct jumper and change it.
try turning on your computer and pressing del, to access the bios. It should be simular to the BIOS mentioned in the manual if anything. Looks like the board doesnt have a multiplier jumper so its time to look at the BIOS if it came be done.
If you see anything along the lines of multiplier then thats what you have to change.

That link explains the manual that I found why it is an Award BIOS.
Go back to the post where the link to the manual is. To access the BIOS you need to press DEL as soon as you turn on your computer. The DEL key is found near the Enter button. Page 8 of the manual says the speed is controlled in the BIOS. You go to Frequancy/Voltage Control at the bottom left. Press Enter to access it. Choose CPU Host/PCI/Spread Spec and press page up to shift between the different values. Once you've found 10x then press ESC so you are back to the main menu. Press F10 to save and then exit the BIOS. If all goes well then you should have changed your CPU speed.
Another way to improve performance is to get a memory program that frees up any unused memory. This one I use and it's pretty good. http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file_d ... 604,00.asp.

All my searches just result in the same bios being mentioned: Award BIOS.
Was this comp built by someone or from a computer company?
Can you download CPU-Z? It is a program that displays your system information. http://www.cpuid.org/download/cpu-z-130.zip. Go unzip the files and run cpuz.exe.
What does it say under Clocks in the CPU tab? Next, click on the motherboards tab, and post everything under BIOS.

Ok so I had a look for versions of BIOS's by American Megatrends, which turns out to be AMI.
If there is an entry for "Chipset", then you would go to "CPU configuration" and you should be able to either set the speed of the CPU there, or change the multiplier. Change it to 10 if you can otherwise 9.5.
If there isn't an entry then it's time to actually determine the exact motherboard you have. http://www.ami.com/support/mbid.cfm, you would need to get AMIMID. The results will be saved in the file "Results.txt" so you should copy and paste that.
Slowly getting there..

hey tweeedle, youre a defeatist mate, and i unfortunately, am like a dog, digging madly in a backyard the size of footbal pitch , in search of the big bone, thats buried somewhere, i can smell it...
but where would the fun be if i simply bought more ram, and eft the porcessor running in lazy mode?when we all know it can do mnore???besides these solid points, i cant afford to spend 35 pounds on ram, i just wanted to do the overcolcing cos its free and would make my pc faster., you get it twiddle???so any advice regarding the matter in hand would be great, but if you have already suggested getting ram instead, before, then why suggest again, when it must seem obvious that I(or we maybe with mosherben in tow, making this investigation tivck like clockwork), or the team is determined to reach its goal of 10000mhz for this little duron lightweight...
have acool day people
i be back to check for more hintds and tips later.
ps ben i couldnt get the ami check thing cos maceffe killed it every time it downloaded, saying it contacoined a trojan, so no chance for that one.
