How to store weed?

Put it in a zip-lock bag and suck all the air out with a straw, then store in a dry place.

Ziploc with no air in worked fine for me (kept it 2-3 months). Just make sure there are no holes in it.

this method worked for me: put ur stuff in a special freezer burn resistant zip lock baggie, then put it in a cookie tin, then place it in the freezer.

i was able to smoke without having to thaw the weed or anything, like straight from the freezer to my pipe worked fine.

i've also used Medicine bottles. Works great and they come in small sizes

i store my weed in 35mm film canisters....then place them in the freezer...
weed doesnt freeze... gets cold but doesnt freeze... the darkness of the canister also keeps out harmful UV rays... can store it this way from anywhere between 3-6 months no probs... plus no smell

If you dont want any smell at all put the weed in a medicine bottle

I had to revive this just to make a point to those who said zip-loc bags, which was almost all of you. All plastic bags carry a static charge, this means that when you stick your weed in the bag it pulls off the crystals. The crystals get embedded into the plastic of the bag and are impossible to remove completely. Since the crystals are what determines the potency of the bud, you are actually reducing the potency of the bud by sticking it in a plastic bag.

So do what you want but at least know the truth.

I think you guys are making too big of an issue about storing weed. I once rolled a joint, set it down, then couldn't find it. Literally, 4+ years later, I found it behind my computer desk. Best believe I fired it up and got ultra-mega-mega-man-stoned.

Any evidence that not storing weed in a airtight leads to loss of THC potency?

I've heard of Pill containers and Altoid boxes, but Uh I never get a large enough amount, I mean Highest i've had was 3 quarters, And it lasted me 4 days to myself, if my friends woulda been with me it woulda only lasted like 3.

I say airtight because it helps with curing the weed not because it takes away from potency.

everytime i bought an oz and more i put my weed in a glass jar and then i keep it in the freezer, when ever i need a bud i just go get one in the freezer...
