The action packed smoke detector story!
So I was getting ready to smoke a bowl in my room when I looked up and saw a smoke detector looking back at me. It's cold red light laughing at my dilemma. Curses! A smoke detector, second only to the po po as enemy numero uno to stoners the world over! Simple, I thought to myself. I'll just take out the battery. So I drug my fortunately non-wheeled chair across the room and proceeded to take out the battery. And still the blinking eye was mocking my efforts! Blast! The legendary AC powered smoke detector! It seemed to mock my every attempt to hit this proverbial shit! As I wallow in sober self pity I realize I can simply unscrew it and cut the wires, for I am not one for personal safety, and pleasure outweighed any potential negative consequences. So I unscrewed it, and much to my delight there was a simple plug affair! I simply unplugged the bastard, and all was well! Or so I thought, until the cock ramming ass licker started to chirp! It is currently under my covers and chirps once a minute. It's red light is still blinking.
Any suggestions on how to disable the smoke detector without physically breaking it? or do you think it will stop chirping on it's own accord?

ok, im not sure exactly how to do this, but if u can get into the circuit board try to remove the transistor. im not 100% sure of myself, so i wont try to help any more than that cuz ill probably get it wrong. but if u can find out how to remove the transistor it will stop the noise and prevent any future noise, even if u set it off again. somebody with more electrical skills than me should help him, i got a C average in electric class so im not the best help. i was stoned half the time. do a google image search on what transistors look like. and u really should be careful, shut off the power when doing this.
another idea is to go into the circuit breaker and shut off the power to your room, but then u have no power at all. should solve that problem.

the transistor probably didnt run out, hopefully the smoke will clear soon. transistors dont run out, they are a component on the circuit board that transforms electrical pulses into sound, ie the chirping. if u know what ur doing go in and remove the transistor. expose the circuit board (with power off) locate transistor, and either destroy it or remove it, u may need electrical tools to remove it, so burn it with ur lighter or something. MAKE SURE POWER IS OFF or you may get zapped.
