Well when they burnt it, it shouldnt leave a huge burnt mark like that.

hmm interesting, im not a fan of that cause i just go with the easiest way of rolling, but how does it mark it a bad roll or rolled not too well

Well the reason they do it is because its less paper. The reason why it shouldnt have the marks is because that part has already been abit burned so it burns alot faster than the normal paper. You cant get it 100% perfect but it shouldnt be like that

so if there are burnt marks then it burns faster than it should right?

9/10 yes. Because its already like half burnt, it burns quicker. You cant get like 100% not burnt but it should be minimal

so someone would be better off trying to rip it rather than burn it if they want it to burn slower

Since i started rolling backwards more frequently, i've started ripping the excess paper from the joint. Jus fold it down, lick the seam and rip it. Much better result that burning it.
