Re: Purplera1n Grow Journel - Budget
Plants look pretty healthy
"It's literally a very very very small ammount of ammonia sulphate and plant matter from its friend and of course water"
Not a good idea IMO. Compost from weed plants does NOT make good fertilizer. Likewise I doubt straight plant matter and a random chemical will do much good.
I would just give it water or plant nutrients. Dont mess around with other stuff unless you really know what you are doing.
Also I would remove the foil

Re: Purplera1n Grow Journel - Budget
it's not a random chemical, it's a high nitrogen feed sulphate ammonia i got from my local gardening centre. Box/bag full of crystals. Says put one spoon full (comes with its own little spoon) of feed in every water.
Says that it promotes lucious green healthy leaves and high crop yeild
lol This girl is under 4 bulbs, 84 ish watts in total of 2700k. When she eventually and hopefully soon bushes out then she will be under 126 watts in total if i am correct, give or take for the flowering. Which then i will also add another 84 watts with two 42 watt bulbs fixed into lamps so the underside of the plant recieves light.
I've got a small fan running aswell, her stems are very thick, very sturdy. I kinda guessed "thicker the stem, better the fruit".
I have no idea how much i will get out of her, hoping its quite a nice ammount. Although its apparently an autoflowering strain, i find it true, along with a lot of other reviews, the assumption of it has unstable genetics or maybe im wrong, i have no idea. It's not exactly consistant, growth wise, or pattern when thinking about it's other friends.
Even though i started out with 3 and had high hopes, im really not dissapointed. Im going to see if i can try to keep on vegging it till it grows VERY bushy. I just hope the autoflowering thing doesnt kick in soon. But regardless, i now know from experience that i should have gone with a non auto strain. If i started off with something that was very progressive and strong/potent i would have been much happier. But who knows, this may come to be a very good grow, end result wise.
I'm not concentrating on flowering atall, i am HOPING it doesn't come about any time soon.
This is the lighting situation, all 6 bulbs on Biggie.

To keep it from flowering, keep temps high, keep the light on 18/6 at least, and make sure all water given is at least room temperature or on the warmer side.
Colder air, colder water, shorter light will all trip the plant to flower. Autoflowering wont really usually flower on their own unless they are stressed, they usually still need a little help getting there. Any kind of stress can also make it flower so try not to do any major cutting right now

Yes you are trying to simulate winter, people with autoflowering strains have accidently flowered their plants by the room getting too cold, accidently leaving the light off, all sorts of stuff like that. The plants are not very stable genetically, even other stress can make it flower(weedguru)scarf wrote:interestng blacky... so if you want to flower...or are flowering... colder water colder temps etc?

Well thankfully it isn't flowering as of yet. It's just growing bigstyle, stretching abit more, but at the same time giving up the leaves for me, so everything's in proportion.
I have given it as much light as i possibly can. In budding faze, I'm going to get 2 desk lamps and fit a 42w bulb each and have it coming UP from the bottom of the plant to give full light to the fruits.

Also i have a BIG bag of plant resin from my buddy. I heard of dickheads when growing put crap over the bud and the bud forms over it, so it will weigh more up these parts. So because i want a lovely smoke, do you think i should cover the buds in resin and keep doing so untill fully budded mature?

For some reason I highly doubt sprinkling keif (essentially what unpressed hash is) on your plant will make them grow any better. If you want to smoke some keif just add it into the bowl, adding it now just allows the possibility of it getting blown off, pushed off, and its just a pointless waste IMO. Plus growth will push outwards so most of it wont be "embedded" into the buds like you are probably thinking.

Re: Purplera1n Grow Journel - Budget
Thankyou very much for the info blacky, you have saved me some time and effort, thankyou dude. What i have done though, is i've found these air fresheners, they smell of blue berry, mango, lemon. I've put 6 in the grow setup to 1. Get rid of the smell and 2. Give an extra smell to the plant. Working very very well, Light is concentrated on Biggie at all times, 24/7 all around the clock. She HAS been topped, to grow into a shorter more bush kinda like way. Since the pruning incident, i contemplate even now if all those leaves were still on her, what would she look like now? hmmm....
Update:
Biggie is striving well and fit, as she always has. Stinking pretty good too! Getting bigger and bigger day by day, i always notice something new and it's very obvious that something new has grown extra when i check them everyday and inspect it. It is a beautiful plant, to me anyway. The leaves are producing crystals, which i don't know if you can see by the mega pixel on my camera is disgusting.
Anyway, Just thought i'd upload some pics and show you how she is doing!
"BIGGIE"

I've taken the best of care i could possibly give to the plant, and i wish to know what you guys think. The plant i admit has been grown under ghetto conditions, 6 bulbs on her at 2700k operating at 126 watts are on her. VERY soon, i have ordered 2 desk lamps and another two bulbs to go from under the plant to provide flowering spaces to get some of the action. So in flowering i will be giving it 168 watts, 2700k.
