Amsterdam inspired lyrics

Wrote this on the plane back from Dam in 2002...check it and would love any feedback...this poetry malarchy has got a real hold of me. Here goes.....


Dam days can fuck you up

Hazy days,
Weed slaves,
We seek to blaze,
Twisitin’ pungent herb,
And chasin’ crystal like the maze.
5 Euros, porn bureaus,
Chinese food and waffles, for the munchies are at hand.
Green trees, sticky leaves,
We roll ‘em up.
Strike flint, taste roach,
We blaze it up.
Inhale
Exhale
Dam days can fuck you up

Vary highs like pole vaulters,
Weed or Rocky like Gibraltar,
Heavy hits that make you falter
Thought patterns quickly alter,
Start to see the world with your third eye.
Through clouds our spirits fly,
Tryin’ to link with the Most High.
Pick seeds, grind weeds
We roll’em up.
Lick skins, fire slims,
We blaze it up.
Inhale
Exhale
Dam days can fuck you up.

Tourism stoners,
First time rock and rollers,
Can’t get to grips like Rola Cola.
Watch ‘em wobble like weeble,
We label them as feeble.
In the end we’re still all people
Seekin’ life’s real simple pleasures,
Like a hunter chasin’ treasure’
But like presenters of the weather,
In all our life’s endeavours,
All we know for certain,
Is that change is sure to come
Smell bags, break fags
We roll ‘em up.
Zoot skunk, no punk
We blaze it up.

We trudge cobblestone,
Hawkers sellin’ bone.
Yardley’s getting vexed,
Like old elastic being stretched,
Another alley,
Another arse,
Another breast.
It’s all a test.
Terry’s lookin’ lean,
Gavin’s crumblin’ green,
And Ste’s ‘bout to fuck up a next spliff.
It’s alright though ‘cos it is what it is.
Choose the medicine, eyes red again,
We roll ‘em up.
Seeds pop, eyes drop,

yeh tweedle....sorry it took some time 2 getbackatcha....haven't been online for a bit........you ninto hip hop 2 i gather by quiclkly looking at a number of your other posts.....what you reppin at the mo'?

I spend most of my time with friends, writing too much poerty/lyrics, smokin a bit a cabbage, workin and lookin after my baby daughter....nit born and bred in Watford, but i've been here 8 years now...

Love hip hop...mainly into East Coast American ish or UK.......Task Force, Jehst, Common, Madvillian, and a load more....buzz me back...
