Firefox ?

basically i keep hearing people talking about firefox and stuff so i looked it up and its like a different version of internet explorer right?

well i was wondering is it worth changing to it? and whos got it here?

I use mozilla suite its almost the same as firefox. I tried firefox but decided to stick with mozilla suite. I found that either one was much better than intrnet explorer. here is the link hope this helps

I thought Mozilla and Firefox were pretty much the same thing... hrm.

People like using it because spyware and shtuff is targeted to Internet Explorer... something like that.

Had no problems with Internet Explorer but the main reason i use Firefox is because of the tabbed browsing so much easier for me!

i find firefox to be slower, and i dont care about my virus filled computer

theres a new IE coming out very soon anyway with a shitload better spyware and virus protection then ill have the speed of Ie and the safety of firefox :p

you can run both at the same time, and IE has spyware BUILT into it, thats how much it sux.

all the plug-ins you need are easy to download through the browser itself eg flash, shockwave, java etc..

do a test your self, scan your pc with a spycleaner tool, run ie for 7 days and scan your pc, and see what the number is, rescan n clear, then only use firefox for a week, and compare the ammounts of spyware that get installed, you will be strangly amused.
