What's the difference?
What's better smoking a pipe or smoking a spliff and why?
Just wondered 'cos I haven't learnt to roll and I thinking of getting a pipe either that or practiceing rolling. lol.

The difference between smoking a pipe and smoking a j is quite simple, you waste less smoke. When smoking a pipe, less smoke escapes as it is being passed or whatever, therefore you get more high. And while it is different with everyone, most people get more high smoking from a pipe than from a j (if the same amount of weed is used).

Also with a pipe, you dont have to roll anything, just fill the bowl and spark up. But don't completely give up on j's and rolling, it's a good skill to know. You can save a bunch of stoners in a time of crisis, or smoke on the street. J's are much smaller so they can be useful too.

I prefer pipes, just because they're so simple, just put the bud in the bowl, light, and you're done. Don't have to spend time rolling it or anything. And pipes just look cool.

Yeah simplicity I like that any particular type of pipe better? or just any decent one will do?

also spliffs can last you longer than pipes...and dont come with the added hassle of needing to be cleaned..

well that's a good thing. Calmu, you can get a glass pipe, they're good cos they dont heat up and the smoke tastes a bit better, but they're a bit harder to clean, still not much of a problem though. You can also get some pipes that are easily disguised like the credit card pipe or the necklace pipe and stuff. I'd say go with a 4 or 5 inch glass pipe. can go anywhere from 15-35 bucks (canadian)

Pipes are the best. Especilly if you have a clean bowl then you get such a nice flavor off of a pipe that just doesnt seem to be there off of a Joint. Plus its quicker to pack a bowl then to roll a joint.
