I've just bought a grinder, just a cheap acrylic one. I've not used one before and don't have a clue what to do with it. Can you put any part of the plant in it or just the bud? Do you use it on dried or freshly picked plant?
What do you end up with and can I just stick it in a pipe and smoke it?

Put the buds in, try and avoid any stalks. It should ideally be dry before your grind it but thats not necessary. It should come out in a fine ground state and yes you can put that straight into your pipe and smoke it!

If the kind you got is the little round 2-piece one that opens up to reveal little spikes on the inside, here's what you do:

-Open it up, place your bud on the spikes.
-Close it, you might have to push a little, and you'll probably feel a little crunch, that's the spikes going through your bud.
-Rotate the 2 pieces opposite of each other, back and forth, for about a minute.
-You should open up to rather ground up weed. Dump on rolling tray, de-seed, de-stem, smoke up!

You shouldnt be getting seeds in your weed.

Exactly what I was about to say. I found one seed in my weed the other week and I almost collapsed wiv shock.lol. Well obviously thats an exageration but ya know, round here seeds in your weed is like not heard of.

depending on how you smoe some ppl like nugs others like a fine powder

i usually turn it about 3 times so my bud doesnt grind into powder, now if i want to roll a J / blunt, then i grind it up pretty good. I love my grinder, best thing i have bought since........well i guess my pipe.

Grinders are definately a must have in my opinion. Fuckin hate having to do it with my fingers or scissors.

I've been wondering this for a while, never had the time to try it but can you use grinders with hash?

a grinder to me is as essential as skins and roach fukin picking it, unless its wet, i sware wen u put wet bud in a grinder it grinds down. I FUKIN HATE WET SHIT

Wet grade is so fucking annoying. Its normally really high tho. When I put when shit in a grinder it just rolls into little balls

There is only wet bud goign round at the mo, i havent smoked today cause im waiting for my mate to come back from london sumwhere with sum K2 or sumthin. I had a taste and its chronic, but problem is this mate isn't my regular dealer and it means i can only buy in smalls 1.4 for a tenna. sigh i guess im ramblin a bit.
