new to this site, found it while looking for growing guides.

anyway im from ireland, and the weed we get over here is soo bad, you wouldnt believe

im concerned about weed we have been getting over here, because when i smoke it...

1. it tastes horrible
2. it doesnt burn
3. you are left with a black, hard ash, that you have to physically break it off the joint, not tap it
4. if you leave the black hard ash for say 30 mins, then pick it up, rub it between your fingers and it will turn to a black liquid, like black paint
5. you dont really get stoned

now not all weed here is like that, i get other stuff and its perfect, stoned off 1 joint, no hard ash, just normal grey ash that falls off the joint

id really like some opinions about this because i just think its dodgy weed that is being sprayed with something to make it heavier, i dont know.

I have no idea what that could be....but it definately sounds sketchy. Best that you don't fuck with that stuff anymore man. You could have put something horrible in your body :/

it is a pretty fucked up practice... definitely not in the spirit of getting stoned

im glad weed is so free here in Canada, we dont have to resort to putting dangerous chemicals in our non brick weed.

i just wish it were as free as it is in cali. going to a store to buy weed... thats just awesome.

yeah that would be really nice.. but at least around here we get a decision to buy either mid grade weed or really dank bud. Even the mid quality weed we get is still pretty good half the time, and the good weed is VERY good too. Only thing that separates the two is $20 an 1/8 and $60 an 1/8 for the real good weed.

I think I bought weed once that looked like it was tampered with, but I will probably never know, and even then it more so just looked like it was cured horribly

^ here i can get 1/4 for 60$ plus we get a free gram with every 1/4. our mids are probably most peoples high end weed in the US unless you get some crazy weed. the stuff i buy everytime smells so dank and smokes so nice and gets you so high, but the taste is pretty gross. occasionally my guy gets some better stuff (only had a name once) and usually it smells right through the bag and makes my car or my room smell like weed .

yeah the bud around here is AMAZING.. the prices aren't the best, but upper west Pennsylvania/Ohio are huge growing areas so we get extremely good quality weed constantly.. The person I've been getting it from for 2-3 years buys it from the grower though, so that might explain it a little more in my sense.

sarnia is like a weed wasteland, all you can find is shitty bud.
the only time good weed makes it into town is if you personally know someone that drives to london or farther.

^ thats gotta suck, you must go out of town and buy larger quantities im guessing lol.

And it's pretty obvious,the more it weighs the less they have to give to the customer, so they mix in pepper and whatever to weigh it down... I learned to spot dodgy weed immediately after I picked up smoking.
