Here's how we do it in Australia (Read it's good)

Here's how I do things here in Australia:

Bong:
You all probably know this but here I go...

What you'll need:
Plastic 600/375ml Soft Drink bottle (Coca Cola, Pepsi etc.)
~10cm Long piece of Garden Hose
Bowl/Conepiece
Lighter
Your herb of course!

Grab the Plastic 600ml Soft Drink bottle (375ml bottles are great for smaller chambers

), use either the lighter or a hot piece of metal (e.g The back of a Fork, USE OVEN MITTS TO HANDLE) to make a hole about 2/5 up from the bottom of the bottle (Don't make it bigger than the circumfrence of the hose!). After you've done that grab your lighter and use the flame to melt the hole in the bottle to about the size of the piece of hose, then grab the hose and shove it into the hole and into the bottom of the bottle. The hot plastic will form around the piece of hose upon cooling, forming an airtight seal. Now, on the other side of the bottle just below the mouthpiece, make a small hole (About 1cm wide) this will be the shotgun hole/shottie. Leave to cool for a few minutes, then fill with water (So the level is just below where the hose enters the bottle), and put your bowl/conepiece into the hose that's sticking out and viola! You can smoke a bong!

Smoking:
This is where a lot of people are confused, "How do I get the smoke into the bottle?". Once your bottle has the right amount of water, and your bowl/conepiece is on the other end of the hose, fill the bowl/conepiece with your herb. Take the cap off the bottle, put your lips around the mouthpiece, and put your finger on the shottie. Flick on your lighter, and hold it close to the bowl/conepiece, now start sucking. The sucking reduces the pressure of the bottle which causes air to be sucked from outside into the bottle, this will pull the flame onto the herb and start the burning, and the smoke will be sucked into the bottle. When you are happy with how much smoke is inside, let go of the shottie, and the smoke will be sucked straight where it's needed most! (Your lungs)

Yeh us aussies rock man. Alot of people use poweraid bottles. They're the best, since they're really sturdy and dont cave in like other bottles. I remember my first bong was a poweraid/hugeshotty piece. It rocked.

Hehe, its done that way all over the world...

we use a bottle of cola (half a liter or so)
the shaft of a pen (or some sort of strong unbendable/not easy to melt straw)
water
joint

==> you know how to do it, but instead of putting a mix in the bowl we just make sure the but of the joint is small enough to fit in the shaft, but not to small so its quite tight for maximum inhale capacity...

ez for parties 'n stuff, when we go to a party we all have atleast 2 bottles, 2shafts with us... in case someone else forgets

our bongs 'r one use only, or maybe more but we always use new shafts

load up on them THC's

And you forgot one thing man, when we do it in Aus, it is normally is some sweet place like... on the beach, in the forest, in caves, in cars looking at the beach with hot chicks(/guys). Thats what makes smoking in aussy so much better.

Oh yea, and when cops pull you over and you've been smoking, there more likly to ask for some then fine you
