wattage for lights

what is the least amount of wattage a bulb can have for the lights as i am looking to getting a certrain flourecent light i have noticed in the shops, ive only got two sprouting so far if that makes a difference

i am personnally going to use (2) 40 watt soft white tube lights... also (2) 26 watt spiral bulbs but no idea if they will work so good luck.

I GREW 4 PLANT THROUGH VEG WITH 1-24 IN TO START AND ADDED 24 IN LAMPS TILL I GOT TO 8 THEN WENT WITH 250 WATT HPS WE GOT 6 OZ BUD
2ND GROW WE PUT UP 600WATT HPS AND ALL THE TUBES AGAIN FOR 4 PLANTS USED GREEN HOUSE SEEDS THUS FAR THEY ARE MONSTER PLANTS BUDS ARE WEEK OLD AND ABOUT THE SIZE OF A DIME
