Anyone got any advice on places to go/what to ask for? Anyone thats been there got any favourite smoking spots or things to ask for? We gotta make the best of it!

funk doc could tell you loads but hes away at the minute, so your best bet maybe looking in other threads, asking flow or somebody eslse, cause im not sure that theres too many of us that have been loads or enough to know the place well, could be wrong though

i tried searching for amsterdam but the thing wasnt working for some reason! Anyone with any help would be appreciated, sure throw whatever ye can at me lads. Anything in particular that any of ye recommend i try?

Haha, true, but Amsterdam is a worthy subject.

I recommend going to the Bananenbar, The Excalibur, Coffeeshop De Keeper (if you're interested in football (Soccer), you'll enjoy this one), 420 Cafe, The Noon cafe, and if you see one of the smaller grasshopper cafe's, i'd suggest going in one of them, it's quite a sophisticated cafe, a weird environment for smoking weed in really.

Also, i recommend getting a peddleboat on the canals, i think it was 8 euro's for an hour, with a 50 euro deposit, which is quite fucking good really, seeing as you can just float around getting stoned on a boat for an hour.

And when the munchies hit you, look to your left or right and there will be donuts and waffles of every colour of the rainbow, pizza's as far as the eye can see, and some of the most amazing chocolate shops ever.

It truly is God's country.

dude im from amsterdam, when i went there last summar (2004) me and my brother were walking alone in downtown, and we cam near a cafe called bulldog cafe, its by a large church, thats across the canel from red light district

Yeah the bulldog cafe's are alright, there used to be quite a few of them, all owned by the British.
