Im in this section cos obviously im a noob

Simply put, ive never smoked weed before. Ive looked at a few explanations on how to make a bong, but like I still cant make one O__o and there is some stuff that isnt explained very well. Like I said im a total newbie to this, so can help a brother out

First thing is, whats the best way to make the hole for the stem? I tried just stabbing a hole in the side with a knife and it worked kinda, but like isnt the stem meant to stay on an angle? and how can I make it air tight?

Second is wtf is a screen? I realise it can be made of foil but like..what do I do with it?

I think thats it. Sorry for the probably blatently stupid questions. But you guys seemed like a nice bunch, so thought Id try my luck and ask

As you're a noob you might need to seal the stem in with blu-tac, chewed up chewing gum works even better. If you really wanna go to town use polly filler.

To make the stem go at an angle into the water u need to push it in at an angle. The best way to do this is to melt the bottle or whatever a little bit and then stab the stem through the softened plastic at the angle u want.

The screen is simple personally i would buy one from a headshop or something as smoking too much tin foil can be bad for you. But anyhow, just seal a small ammount of tin foil over whatever you're using as a bowl (the bit you put the weed in) Make sure there re no air holes and it is on nice and firm over the bowl. Now poke lots of small holes in the tin foil using a pin or something equaly as thin and sharp... your penis should work fine... jk

When this is done you should be able to place the weed on top of your screen and smoke through it. Personally i think i've explained this really badly but meh.

you got it. if the hole going to the stem is small enough you don't even need a screen. The point is to keep the bud from falling down the stem and into the water, so the screen may or may not be necessary.

I just had 2 cones and coughed like a bitch on the first draw hahaa. Did it better a second time drew a huge hit in... then I kindve "instinctivly" realised how to do thing.

At first I was like...."aw shit man that so wasnt worth it..fuckin hell" and now like 2 minutes later im all numb and lightweightness ahah. Am i like a lightweight or something for only 2 cones first time. probably, but whos complaining!

If you want to get a free screen, just pry one out from your kitchen or bathroom faucet. Make sure you distill it with fire before you use it.

oh thanks man. I didnt even end up using one hahah, I couldnt get the foil to stay around the cone piece so I just went "meh, Ill use big bits underneath" so that I did.

Is it normal to get like a slight burning feeling in your chest after a hit?

Still tryna get used to how much I can handle heheh, I always draw for too long and run out of breathe. Comes with practice I guess eh : )

The noobs I introduced all smoke bud atleast once a week now (financial reasons) but before that they never smoked at all really but ive been tight with them for a minute..
