In one sense you cannot be a betterartist when you are stoned as you are always an artist stoned or not. I think that that smoke is a good way to let things flow in an uninterrupting way, minus the ego part of the personality.
Smoke distracts the ego and allows real insight which the artist puts to paper.

I play guitar and drums in two different bands (well, three sometimes i guess)..if you're making new songs or just jaming smoking gets you really inspired I feel, but since your memory fails you all the time you have to have a taperecorder on or atleast someone else who's sober enought to remember..lucky for me, or should i say sadly in the groups I play in no one else smokes (well one person does but he's a fucking poser and I hate him)

the way I feel is you explore different ways of playing more, you tend to open up your views alott more

Yeah, I can't draw in the first place, and getting high only makes it worse. However, I write much more meaningful lyrics, and go absolutely fucking crazy on the drums.

Weed is good for design, and I do web design for a living. But its a risk because sometimes if I smoke I just get too lazy to work at all lol.

i find i can communicate my ideas onto paper better when high. i love to draw high because you wake up the next day and look at it and just laugh at what you drew because i usually cant remember. that's another thing, as of late ive meant to draw but i fall asleep. i keep letting my self down.

Uhh...I agree with you on being better stoned, but- if you hate the guy in your band, then why are you in a band with him?

I cant draw very good in the first place ,but when i'm stoned it always looks good until the next day. Then i have trouble telling what it's supposed to be. It's kind of off the subject but i can write papers for school better if im stoned and it seems like it doesn't tak as long. I cant put my ideas on paper very good whem im sobered up.
