Cats...they just sit around and chill with ya when you're stoned. Dogs always want to do stuff whether it's chasing it's own tail or rubbing its ass all over the carpet.

I picked cats because I live downtown so I haven't been able to have a dog for a comapnion in a long time. I love all animals equally except for my two cats and my bird Marshall, who I love more.

When cats are kept indoors (which they should be if you live in town) and are engaged in family life, they are very good companions. My cats always know when I'm sad and comfort me by purring and sitting near me and trying to distract me.

A cat is definitely more independant than a dog! The domestication of dogs took advatage of canine pack structure ~ domestic dogs are always the Beta while their human "companions" are always Alphas. It's like humans domesticated dogs. Cats domesticated themselves.

A cat can return to its instincts and live without human help far more easily than a dog can.

cats are the bomb I get mine high every now and then and it will run around into walls in stuff. Plus you dont have to clean there shit out of your yard they are smart enough to go were they are ment to. I had this dog shit all over my floors I hated the dam thing. Just think about wakeing up and steping in a big pile of piss and shit doesn't feel great.

im really more of a cat person, dont get me wrong, i like dogs too, but i like cats better, they are better smoking companions cuz they just chill and like, they dont shit everywhere like dogs do. plus they dont bark all the time and keep you awake when they do bark.

dogs are better. I think i'll bond more with a dog than with a cat...besides if your about to get robbed, you cant send out your cat to bite the guy! the cat will be like "meow??" and pto you and hide

.....I choose a dog for protection,company and love... when have you ever seen a sign that says "BEWARE OF CAT"..dont get me wrong cats are cute and cool, but i prefer a dog.
