Pot Limits (in more than one way)?

Smoking pot and having a good active life is not always easy. I'm wondering what kind of limits everyone puts on their pot smoking.

Things like "Not before breakfast" or "Not until after work is done" or "just a hit until after" etc etc etc.

i need some limits..
i find that grass cuts into most to all my money

i had 260 or so like 6 days ago and its all gone.. wtf is that?

but.. feels like theres SHIT to do other than blaze and chill round here..

Well after today I'm thinking a good rule of thumb is:

Don't smoke up when you can't stay up.

That covers many different things, like before work, if you don't have enough weed to last all day, before you have to do stuff, etc.

But if you have a chance to get up, stay up, then crash to bed, its all good.

Dont have too many limits.

I pretty much smoke something be it weed or oil all the time. Im an everyday smoker. BUT. I dont smoke on the job, and I dont blaze when I got the kids around

What about concentration, and this is to anyone here.

Is there any way to hold your concentration after you have been smoking? I mean, like when coming down?

Thats always been the worst for me is that coming down I am not feeling good enough to do something fun but I'm not straight enough to do something useful.

Any tips?

i dont have limits cuz its gettin hard to get weed around here...all my sources are out of town or moving or in jail or something...at least most of them. so i say smoke whenever u can get ur hands on the shit! and since fate seems to favor me compared to some of my friends, i usually end up smoking 4-5 times a week

I impose strict limits on myself ~ I'm an every day smoker but also a 4.0 (well, 3.933333) student at an academically rigorous university. My reading comprehension isn't effected too badly by smoking, but my motivation for reading textbooks is. I don't wanna read my history book when I'm all caned. I wanna sink back into the couch and listen to music and chat with u guys.

Also, if any kind of textual analysis is required, which it usually is, I can't be bothered to do that when baked either. I can't write when baked. It takes forever and I produce poor quality papers.
These things I know about myself. Therefore I have a daily agenda....can't smoke until I get XXX done. For instance today I can't smoke until I finish my communist China paper or most of it and do some more research on my hip-hop paper. That's why I'm at the library. I can't study at home coz I live in a hotbox.

i respect weedguru caro's rules alot

i only have one rule: i only smoke when i can relax. it takes care of everything.
-cant toke before work
-before school
-before going out (with the gf or family)

i only toke when the next 6 hours of my life dont have anything remotely important in them.

which is basically everday after school and saturday and sunday

My only rule is not to toke before class or driving. If I have to drive somewhere soon, I won't toke. Though, tonite was an exception

i have no limits. i smoke before school (except my 9am class, i have a hard enough time trying to stay awake sober). i always smoke before a test. and i have a 3.8 gpa. i pretty much always smoke before work too because work is boring. and i usually smoke a few times during the day when i'm just sitting around. but i can get by without being high as well. some days i'll only smoke at the end of the night.
