i dont understand how it would come unrolled? i dont use roaches but i have before once i heard of them on here, figured it couldnt hurt. anyways i guess you're rolling too loose? use the roach as the base of the joint, roll it up really tight first and work down. cone shaped joints work out best with roaches usually...

A am a roach pro
have you tried rolling first and then sticking the roach in ?
if that doesn't work try cutting out some glue from a paper and that will keep it nice and tight.

Sorry dude, but you didnt say you were using coardboard. I think your problem is that you are using too much cardboard. It's just meant to curve around so it meets the other side, not lap over. This way it'll stay in a rolled shape, but won't come undone.

If you need anymore help post and I'll roll a joint and take some pictures and post em up here.

Talk about a difference of terms. If "roach" was used the same way there as it is here, what you all said would make NO sense whatsoever. "Add the roach after you roll it" lol.

Roaches, here, are the little piece that is left after you smoke it. There is usually enough weed left in one to get you buzzing in hard times. What are you all talking about? Sounds to me like you are talking about filters.

Play with the roach a little bit more. Roll it, then unroll it, and roll it the other way. Make it so that it is a little bit more malleable (that even a word?) ... just mess around with it for a couple of minutes, so that when you do decide on its shape, it stays.

Works 4 me :P

I also suggest using some roaches that u can buy from headshops, they are very cheap. The Quintessential Smoking Tips ones are very nice :P

e.g. http://www.everyonedoesit.com/acatalog/ ... ch_19.html

I, personally, use the hemp ones on that page.

Yeah Tarential, in most cases, that's what a roach is around here too. Anybody who is man enough to hit the roach gets first hit on the next joint and puff puff puff pass, rather than puff puff pass, because damn, that shit burns.

Here a roach is a little piece of cardboard in the end of the joint that you use to hold the joint and inhale through (kind of lie a cig filter, but it's just a rolled up bit of paper.) We never have any remainds of the joint, because we smoke it down to the cardboard, so no weed is left.

You miss out on a lot, then. Roach joints are great.

Also, we use those too sometimes, we just call them filters :P Usually we only use em in monster joints though.

I call the leftovers of the joint roaches, but i picked up that nickname for the cardboard filter here.

I use the cardboard from rolling papers. Anyway, usually the problem is that they unroll and widen the joint. I'll try less cardboard next time.

The problem is that the glue isn't holding dude. What kind of skins are you using? I use zig whites, and the glue holds the filter in.

well when i roll in a cone shape, the gum is not on the pull side... so it wont really stick. But the skins i use are pretty bad, the only ones the store that sells to me has...oh well i'll just save the leftover roaches for later i guess. Only problem is how much they smell.

Thats one nice thing about being of age. I can choose whatever I want to buy. I can even be indecisive and look like I don't know what I'm doing :) Mind you, I never got IDed when I was underage, either...
