Well since DARE said you could get flashbacks similiar to acid from touching dope, I was scared. Then I went through puberty.

lol my cousin was a pothead, and when she would come over to my house she would tell me her stories and everything, i tought she was crazy by the time and I told my mom every single thing she said. LOL
I tought weed was dangerous... I was only 10

I was scared of it, because it was a drug. But that didn't stop me from trying to smoke it when I was like 12, haha. My friend stole some roaches out of her dad's ashtray. I tried to make this elaborate pipe out of a popcan with scissors and a hot glue gun

I got a little dizzy, but not high. Then I had to have my bone marrow tested to see if it was a match for my terminally ill brother and I was sooooo scred that my "drug use" would show up that I was having agonizing anxiety and almost told me mom that I had tried it. Ha ha. God, I wish there had been a Weedguru around when I was a dumb kid.

Pretty much the same, i used to think it was really bad shit, then i started to read up about it after i found out loads of my school friends did it. Then i set out about trying it, and loved it.

I used to think drugs were bad. I'm allergic to alcohol, so, I don't even touch that. Every time I drink, I get all red and short of breath.
Pills, I'll never do E or anything. Maybe some perscription drug because that's not JUST a drug... it's a medicine.. ya know what I mean?
And smoking cigs, I know it causes cancer, but, I did it anyway. Not much right now...
And I read somewhere that the only really bad thing about weed is the smoking... so if you cook it in something and get high, it's not that harmful... is that accurate?
So, I was thinking, "If I'm gonna smoke, why not have it be something WORTH smoking?"
I don't really like cigarettes. I only smoke it when I don't have weed... and I don't ask for weed too often either...

Of course I used to think weed was bad before I started smoking. I thought all drugs were bad. I used to hide my mom's cigarettes and think I was cool (I was too scared to hide my dad's beer; I was scared of him when I was little). But then my brother told me he smoked pot, and that kind of loosened it up. I watched him do it a few times before I wanted to do it, and then he introduced me to the wonderful world of marijuana. I guess I owe him one, even though he doesn't smoke anymore.

i used to be against smoking and weed, but 2 of my mates who i was chillin wit about 3 years ago let me try a joint. this wanker called kyle found a 9bar in his next door neighbour's shed, and we smoked it all summer, can't really remember my 1st joint at all. now here i am loving the world of weed and cigaretters - my so called ''friends'' have changed my life.

im very lucky to have such liberated folks.My parents have smoked cannabis for years and years so it was second nature to my brother and I.
at xmas when we all get together we all as a family sit and smoke together.Oh guys its great.
I havn't done speed or coke since my daughter was born (to much to lose over a dodgy wrap)
I dont understand all the hype about cannabis.when my daughter grows up i will have NO PROBLEM at all with her smoking weed.But i will kill her if she EVER touched coke or fucking heroin.

I think it's safe to say that everyone tries to teach you as a child that weed is a bad thing and that it will kill you. They scare you out of it, or at least try to. You don't side with it until you take your first hit.

When i was little all drugs were just drugs and they were wrong, and i'd never touch em. I started smoking cigs when i was really round though, and i started getting drunk not long after. When i was about 13 till i was just turning 15 i was getting drunk every weekend and some weekdays. Then i got hold of some skunk one day when i randomly met a dealer, smoked it and loved it. I've always loved getting fucked so bud came as second nature to me. As time went on i'd pretty much try any drug put in front of me if i knew the effects and the drawbacks, but weeds the only one i made a habit out of.
