Bought my first ounce last weekend!!

I normally wouldn't consider myself a 'hardcore' pothead. I smoke in the vicinity of 4 or 5 joints a week, unless I'm on vacation or partying.

On Friday I bought my first ounce because I was able to get a good deal. I paid $190 for the ounce, which probably sounds like a terrible deal to a lot of folks. But considering I buy 5 grams for $50.00 from my 'regular guy', I ended up getting my ounce for around $7/gram.

I have no idea how much me and my best friend smoked this weekend gone by. I'm thinking in the 5-7 gram bracket...in 2 days. Again, this is probably chicken feed to the hardcore stoners, but for me it was a terrific weekend.

It really all depends what grade of bud your smoking for the price you get. Schwag is like 60 bucks whilst nug and Kb run around 200 for me. I dont know just depends what your buying I guess.

Congrats! That first ounce i bought lasted forever...

Shit now i burn an ounce a week and i usually dont smoke monday and tuesday cuz i got my academic classes where my memory must be functioning, but wowie its sad when i think about how much money i would've spent by now if i wasnt growing. I swear it would hit me like a coke addiction and crashed the bank.

I encourage everyone to start growing, its easy if you have half a brain and so damn rewarding, its when smoking really gets good.

I remember i bought my first oz. i was happy, it seemed like a shitload to me and i conserved it...it lasted a while

I remeber when I bought my first ounce, I wish I had a better sense for picking up cops cause right when I got it, around the corner comes the cops. 3 weeks in jail. Very shitty times.
